Jamestown Jets Announce 2009/2010 Tryouts
Saturday, June 6th - 4:00-7:00 PM @ Niagara University

Jamestown Jets Summer Skills/Conditioning Skates
The Jets Summer Skills/Condition Skates will begin on may Tuesday May 26th 8pm and run every Tuesday thru August as well as Thursday evenings beginning on June 25th. After the first week each session will begin @ 6 PM or 7PM to accommodate those who may be traveling.
The skates will consist of skills and conditioning drills along with scrimmages.

The Jamestown Jets are pleased to announce that they will play the 2009/2010 season in the Northern Junior Hockey League.
The six member league will consist of teams in Ohio, Pennsylvania , and New York. Teams will be affiliated with higher level junior programs…more to follow - stay tuned for details.
The Jamestown Jets will be making a formal announcement on Friday regarding tryouts and league information for the 2009/2010 season. The announcement will include the Jamestown Jets, Penn Enforcers, and Findlay Grrrowl all of which will be playing together again this coming season.
Player Update: The Jets have resigned Forward Brandon Renckens “Brandon is a speedy forward with good hands who matured a lot over the season…he has great upside and will continue to get better” said Canfield.
Forwards:
“Captain” Sean Cirbus: will be attending Prep School this fall and is currently deciding on several schools (including but not limited to Kent, Northfield, Pomfret, and Avon)
Tyler Underhill: attending Lincoln Stars USHL main camp
Joe Coyne: invited to attend several OHJL camps and has been offered an EJHL contract
Justin Banaszak: has been offered a contract in the EJHL
Dan Igielinski: Fredonia State Blue Devils
Defensemen:
“A” Mike Robertson: has signed to play Tier II in Alberta Junior Hockey League this coming fall
“A” Tyler Nelson: attending several OJHL/NAHL camps and also Pre Draft Showcase
John Orr: BGSU Div 1 Club or John Carroll University
Goshi Kumagai: RMU or Minor Pro
The Jamestown Jets Junior “A” program’s foundation is based on developing young men/hockey players for the next level both on the ice and off and will continue to be the focus as proved by the players advancing. The Jets wish all of these young men the very best in the future and congratulate them on their accomplishments and are proud to have been their driving force in advancing their careers.
